Trey is getting so big and knows so much but he will not put words together for me. As a first time mother I asked why he wasn't putting words together yet. Just like before, he was able to say mom and dad and that was it. I was worried and asked the doctor. She said it will come. Then Trey knew lost of words in a matter of weeks. Well know my dilemma is putting words together. She is actually amazed at how many words he can say and how clear they are. Once again she said give it time. I knew that is what she was going to say. But he does things his own way. I don't know where he gets it... lol...

I painted Kiya's nail pink today when we got home from running around. She is soo cute. Trey and Kiya get along so well. When we go to the park Kiya fallows Trey where ever he goes. Kiya will be 13 weeks old tomorrow. She already knows to wine at the door to do out, sit, come, and high five. I am trying to teach her to lay down but she just wants to give me high fives. She is cute.

Where to Start

Brad and I got laid off from Yoh, that works for Harris Communications. Well Brad got laid off June 29th and I got laid off June 30th. We were the last group to be laid off and the first to be called back September 14th. I collected unemployment but it wasn't enough. Brad did get a job while we were unemployed. The boss was a jerk. He wanted Brad to work 13 hour days from August 29th to October 1st with no day off. He did this for 2 1/2 weeks. I would have a conversation with him at night and he would have no clue in the morning what we talked about. I showed him a new outfit I got and he told me he liked it and commented about it. The next morning he saw it laying out and he asked where I got it. That was the last straw for me. He was too stressed. So he put in his 2 weeks when Yoh called and said they would like us to come back. Trey and I met Brad for lunch a few days before we went back to Harris and he was exhausted and just called his boss on lunch and told him he wouldn't be back. He came home and slept for a couple of hours. I felt bad for him.

Then when we went in for paperwork for Yoh Brad was promoted from assembly B to Tech A. So we decided to go and get me that SUV I have been wanting forever. Then after we went though all the paperwork at the dealership we get a call saying you have to be a Harris employee to be a tech A. That really upset Brad. But he was happy that I got a car that he can fit in. He is such a good man because he loves it when I am happy. Well maybe just a smart man...lol...JK!! He is a good man.

I got a 2004 Ford, Escape. It is a 4wd, with heated leather seats, backup beepers, and a 6 disc changer.

Brad wants a bike REALLY bad so instead of getting a bike he got a Golden Retriever. I named her Kiya. Trey and Kiya hit it off right away. We go to the park or walk outside she fallows Trey. They pick on each other all the time. They are funny. Our neighbor/ friend has a 5 month old black lab/ Germain Shepard. They love each other. Our neighbors dog runs down here to see if Kiya is out and he sits at the garage door when Kiya is inside and he is in the garage. It is puppy love. She was born on the 4th of July.

Trey just got a potty today because Brad took Trey's diaper off this morning and he stood up and said pee pee while he was peeing on the floor. Then later Trey took is own diaper off and started peeing on the floor and said pee pee. I told Brad we HAD to get a potty. I saw a potty that was $30 that made a flush sound, had a toilet paper holder, and sang when you peed and said good job. I bought the old fashion 3 way potty. It sits on the floor, you can take the seat out to put it on the big potty, and it is a step stool. All for $9.50.

Long Time No Talk

I haven't been on for a VERY long time. I changed my password and I forgot it. I was using an e-mail address. Such as the one I use for here. I tried logging on to aol and hoping that it would ask me a question, like what was your first pet's name or something, but I wasn't that lucky. It said it set it to the alternative address. Which I though was my grandma. I asked her to send me my password if she got it in an e-mail. She said she never got one. I might just start a facebook and start a new myspace later. Well we are getting ready to go to I Hop so I better get off here. I will get on later.

Garage Sales

I LOVE going to garage sales. It is like a garage sale. You never know what your going to find. Brad HATES them. Hates garage sales. He calls it junk. I made him go out with me because I didn't feel comfortable going by myself. I went to a few of them around my neighborhood a few weeks ago and Brad doesn't think it is junk when he finds something. You know how people are. Well I told Brad I was going to go to this Church sale and then I would head home because Trey was getting tired. Well at the last stop I found a blue car bed. I loved it I grabbed it as soon as I saw it. I was surprised it was still there.

I also liked the fact that all the money that was made was going to a youth play area that was a little further back in the woods behind the church. The lady that was running it was telling me about it when I was waiting for Brad to get out of the car to look at it. They have a basketball court and playground for teens and what not to hang out on so they won't get into trouble. I think it is a good idea. I was thinking about joining there church. They seem like very nice people.

I didn't even get it in the house yet and Trey was climbing all over it. After I cleaned it up I went to Wal-mart for a new bed set. I wanted a cars bed set but I didn't want a red one. I was so happy when I saw a blue one to match his bed. I didn't let Trey or anyone see it until I had the bed set on it. When Trey first saw it he screamed and climbed in his bed. He loves sleeping in his "big boy" bed.

The first few nights he didn't sleep well. I told Brad that we should take the pillow off and see how he sleeps because he isn't used to a pillow. That night he slept until 6 which isn't as long as he usually sleeps but it is a new bed. He has done really well and I talked to his doctor and she said he is physically and mentally inclined for his age so she sees no problem with it. I love his doctor A LOT. She is a great person along with being personable and tells you what you need to know. Just like what a pediatrician should be, she is great with kids and have kids of her own.

Lafayette, IN

I am going to be flying for my first time in June. I am going back to Lafayette Indiana. Where I was born and raised. Everyone always comments on how I say thing or what I say. Like I call my grandma, mammaw, and my grandpa, pappaw. I also call my great aunt, mammie and I called her husband Pappy. I guess they don't hear that stuff very often. I got made fun of for saying leart instead of learned all the time in Lafayette and they do the same in New York. My English teacher used to correct me all the time.

Just like people in small towns think that New York is nothing but city. Everyone in New York thinks that Indiana is one big cornfield. Which people from either state knows that's not true. There are more woods in Rochester than there are in Lafayette.

Oh they hardly ever get tornadoes here. I over herd this one guy say what's the point of having a basement? Storage. I was thinking "man he ain't from Indiana". Everyone in Indiana has to have a basement. We have one so if there is a tornado we will be good. Anything can happen.

Back to the flying thing. I am so excited. I can't wait to fly. Brad thinks I am going to be scared when the landing gear goes in and what not. I don't think so. Trey might get a little worried but I'm not sure about that either. I don't think he will if we don't act scared or anything. I am counting down the days to leave. Brad's friend Dan is coming up to visit on the 6th of June and leaving the 13th. That is right before we leave.

Trey's New Look

It has been pretty hot here for the past couple of weeks. Trey was in need of a hair cut. Well to need. Ya his hair was "BARLEY" touching his ears but when it gets there it means he needs a haircut. I cut it a little shorter than I usually do because of the warm weather. You can always put a hat on him if it gets a little chilly. He looks so cute. I do get those stupid comments like " If I wanted to cut on someones hair than I need to go back to beauty school." What I said in return is I like it and he is my son so I can cut his hair the way I want to. It is how all the little kid are doing there hair. That was the only rood comment I have gotten so far and I don't care. Look at the mullet everyone one had back in the day. I think that is ugly. Do we need to really need to start that conversation.
I have a better picture on my phone:(

My very own place!

Well I wrote last week about how we had to move then when I was getting to the end of a very long page. I lost it. I somehow highlighted it and deleted it. But the moral of the story is that the owner of the house that we where renting to own wanted the house back. The owner also works for Harris, but was stationed in Pakistan. He comes back July 1st. He wasn't supposed to come back for another year but something is going on over there that made him have to come back. so we had to move before July. When I found out I wanted to move right away because I didn't want to move last minute. We looked for a couple of weeks and couldn't find what we wanted. So we decided to look for apartment.

We came across a townhouse duplex that was still being built. We called and he said to come out and look at them. So we did. I didn't like the idea of moving into an apartment but I was open to the idea of a townhouse. I didn't think they were going to be that great but I liked them. I didn't like the 1 level, 2 bedroom homes but I did like the 2 level, 3 bedroom town houses. They are built energy efficient. With the new energy efficient insulation, water and electricity, and washer and dryer. Our bills will be lower than in a normal house. Well our house has 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, full basement, laundry room, and a 2 car garage. We love it here. We haven't really heard the neighbors and they said the haven't heard us. I told her Trey loves to just scream. She said that her son screams when he is hungry. He is 10 months. I told her I didn't hear him. She also has a 3 year old daughter and a 10 week old German Shepard. She is so pretty. Trey loves the dog. He is an animal lover anyway.

Lilly Bridget's dog used to follow me around and sleep outside my door when I was pregnant. She also waited by the bay window when I was at the hospital having Trey. It was like she knew. She also slept outside of Trey's room when we brought him home. They have been so close. When we lived in the house before this one we had a huge fenced in backyard that we let Trey and Lilly run around in. Lilly used to fallow him around the yard everywhere he went. If we were out on the deck and Lilly was laying down, Trey would move her front legs and sit in between them. Lilly loves him and he loves her. I want to get a dog so that we can have protection at home and so that Trey can have his own dog.

By the way Trey says Lilly, light, and cookie. The only one that is a little funny is cookie. It is "coocoo". Like the beginning of cookie twice. He is so funny.

I almost forgot Trey has 4 teeth on top, 3 on bottom, 2 bottom molars and getting 1 molar on top on the right side.

Birth Control from HELL

I started the depo 6 weeks after I had my son Trey and I weighed 110 pounds. Then I stared the depo. I now weigh between 125 and 130. I got stretch marks on my inner thighs from gaining weight. On the depo you are only supposed to have your period once every 3 month. I had mine everyday for over a year. Now I bleed for 2 weeks out of the month. I finally gave in and got the Nuva Ring today. I didn't want to have to change it or put it in. The though grossed me out. I am so glad I am going to be put back to normal for the most part.

Fishing Blues

Brad and I took Trey fishing yesterday. One of Brad's friends at work told him about this great place to go fish. Brad and I had to do and get a few different types of hooks and a few other this because we weren't fishing for catfish. They don't have much catfish up here. Plus you have to go by seasons. They have fish seasons up here. It is funny. Well we were going to go fishing for carp and need something lighter or something. I was happy because I got a pink fishing pole. It was only $20 and it came with a pink little tackle box that had 120 pieces in it. I love it. We were going to get Trey one of the little poles with nothing on it but we were going to a public place and I didn't want Trey hitting people with it.

When we finally got to the lake there where no fishing peers so we had to leave. You can only fish with a boat. We went to the Canadagwa Lake and there was a river to fish off of but we had our eye set on Seneca State Park so that Trey could play on the playground. When we got there Trey was so happy to see the water. He loves water. He just wanted to walk around. There were docks there but you were not allowed to fish off of them. Brad ended up using my pole. While Trey either sat in his lap or wanted to walk from where Brad was fishing to the sidewalk and back or sitting in the middle of the sidewalk. I have pictures and I need to put them on here. Brad didn't catch anything. We went to Wendy's. Trey ate and passed out cold!!

We went to Wal-Mart to print my pictures and Brad went to the pet section and bought Trey a fish tank and all the stuff to go with it. Now we have to get fish in a couple of days. Trey loves fish though, plus I planned on getting him fish anyway. I also go my ring yesterday from Kay. They had to size it for me!!

An Akey Easter

Trey got the concept of putting the eggs in the basket. I was so proud!! The thing is he is teething and he was grumpy and didn't want to look for them for very long. He put about 5 in the basket and was done. He got another front tooth. (The one on the right next to the front two teeth.) He is getting his teeth really weird. They aren't coming in order at all. I will have to put pics on later my son is being a menace.

Early Easter

Trey got his haircut... again.

Playing on the Deck, Dog and all

Trey knew better than to stand up on his toy.

He gave Lilly her bone. They love each other.

Park

Trey's Room

I did it all by myself. I came up with the design theme and everything.

Good Weather Fun

Yesterday Brad and I took Trey to the park and he loved it. We have tons of parks up here for some odd reason. The park we went to reminds me of Happy Hollow, but only on the drive up there. The actual play area isn't that big. The big reason for going up there is to see the Canal. We didn't see it because it started getting breezy. We just played on the playground for a little bit. Trey LOVED it. He likes playing with little kid. Mostly just watching them. He was staring at a little kid play with a steering wheel and the little boy's dad told him to let Trey have a turn and the little boy gave it up willingly but Trey just stared at him. I told his dad that he just likes watching him play. Trey is a quick learner. He has always investigated everything. He it a watcher. He will watch you do something one time and he will have it down pat.

Brad went out this morning. He said he was getting me a surprise. Then when I called him and asked him when he was going to be home because I needed to get in the shower. He told me that the place he went didn't open until 10 am. It was 9:18 am when I called. I told him to hurry up. His response was, I'm sorry I am trying to something sweet for you guy for Easter. I knew he was going to get me a new ring because on of my diamonds fell out of my engagement ring, but it was going to be for my birthday. He didn't tell me that but I knew. So at that point I didn't know what he was going to get for me. Then I didn't think it was going to be a ring because he said you guys and that threw me WAY off. He got his mom this really pretty necklace that had an inscription that said something about giving there child away. I thought it was cute. I thought I was going to get the open heart necklace from Kay. Then Brad handed me an empty box and I opened it and said OK. Then he pulled a 1/2 carrot heart shaped diamond out of his pocket. I love the ring!!!n I told him when we first met I always wanted a heart shaped diamond. I GOT IT!!! I told Brad what I thought it was then when we took Trey to get his picture taken with the Easter Bunny we had to stop by Kay to have them size my ring. Then I stood in line while Brad was "looking at something". That is when he bought me the open heart necklace. I LOVE THAT TOO!!!

Trey was SOOO good with Easter Bunny. He had to sit on his lap for a while because the people in front of us where ungrateful. They thought that the pictures had to be "high quality". Trey was looking at him, the fan, and me. He was laughing the hole time. He was fine with Santa too. He is such a happy and open to anything kind of baby. He will look and laugh at anyone. He was doing it in the line up to the Easter Bunny. We also had a Train that was going around behind the Easter Bunny that he liked watching.

Brad just took Trey out. I mean 5 minutes ago. Well Brad had to get a new Turkey call because his wasn't working right or whatever. So they pulled in next to a car that was halfway into the parking spot. Then when he got out with Trey he noticed that there was someone passed out in on the wheel. Brad went into Dick's and when he came out there was an ambulance and a cop car at the back of the car. Brad was putting Trey in the Truck when the cop told him to get out of the car and keep his hands where he could see them. They put him up against the car and handcuffed him. They seared his body and found a gold dollar size amount of coke. That would have freaked me out if I was there. Brad called me after he left the parking lot. I live in a good area, but stupid stuff still happens..... It happens everywhere but you usually don't witness it 1st hand.

Guns?

Brad has been wanting to got turkey hunting. His birthday is April 12Th, Easter. So when I got my tax check Wednesday he kept bugging me to go and get him his hunting stuff. I was going to surprise him on his birthday by telling him that we were going to pick out his gun. He was getting annoying so I just took him to get his stuff. We spent $458 on a gun, decoys, and a turkey call. One of the little diamond fell out of my engagement ring and I told Brad I want a new one. I think he is going to get me one for my birthday.

Since Brad and Ron's Birthday are on Easter Bridget and I are going to hide eggs for the boys. They are all going to find eggs we are going to color them tonight. I hope it will be warm on Easter. I planned on helping Trey find eggs.

When Brad and I took Trey to Wal-Mart to find a gun strap that he wanted Trey and I were looking at fishing poles. We say a Cars fishing pole that came with Cars sunglasses. There was also a Cars tackle box sold separately. I showed Brad and he told me that he could use his tackle box. I told him that kids like to have there own stuff to make them feel big too. I told him that we wouldn't put hooks in there just bobbers and other stuff that wont hurt him. I can't wait until we can all go fishing together.

Scrapbook and Baby Names

I have been making a scrapbook for Trey since he has been born. I am on #3 now. Now that he sees me do it he wants to "help". He likes to help by scattering foam letters around the room, eating the paper letters, and trying to rip any paper he can get his hands on. He is so funny, he will look at you until you turn your head and then put something in his mouth. I know I shouldn't do it when he is around but I have no other time. Plus he knows it is wrong he just doesn't want to listen. I would rather have it out and teach him not to get into something rather than hide everything. Ya we have locks on cabinets and baby gates up but there are no other baby proof objects in place except for a bumper pad around the edge of the cement fire place. He is so clumsy I don't want him to crack his head on it. If you don't teach them not to do something then how would they now not to get into it. It is like never showing a kid a flame and tell them it is hot. The first time the child sees it, it will want to grab it. That is why I just work on the scrapbook whenever I have time, or get new pictures. I went out today and got a tackle box for my scrapbook supplies to organize it so that I can find things more quickly. Before I had a lot of my foam letters in the box thing they came in and I would have to scatter them out to find a certain letter. Which Trey would help me by laying on the floor and pretty much swim in them. He would push them around with his arms and legs at the same time. Crazy little brat. He loves to checkout everything. Whether you tell him no or not.

I was thinking about baby names and if I have a boy I was thinking about the name TY but I don't know what the Middle name would be. If I have a girl I was thinking Madison Lache'. I didn't want to use the name Madison because Brad's cousin's name is Madison but I don't care anymore. Because I have like 3 aunt Sherrys on the same side of the family. Along with uncle Gregs on the same side as the aunt Sherrys. If we have 2 Madisons that is fine with me. The name I was thinking when I didn't want another Madison was Brittani Lache'. I have plenty of time to figure all that out. I'm not even pregnant yet

First Week of Work

I started work Monday at 8:15 am and ended at 3:30 pm, but that isn't my normal day. On Tuesday I started mt normal day at 5 am and ended at 3:30 pm. I now work from 5 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Thursday. Which is nice because I get a three day weekend. I like getting to work early because you get the rest of the day to do what you want. I was tired all week this week though because I wasn't used to getting up that early. Yesterday I came home and fell asleep with Trey at around 4. When he woke me up an hour later I took him downstairs where Brad was and I crashed on the couch in our living room. Then Brad kept trying to get me to go to bed with him around 8:30 and I kept talking to him about work in my sleep. I thought it was funny. Then I kept falling back to sleep on the couch so Brad picked me up and carried me to the bedroom and put me to bed. Then I had to pee and I asked him if he could carry me to the bathroom as we both laughed. He said now there are no more stops. Only from the couch to the bed. We are all out of bathroom trips. I didn't even wake up when Trey cried. Brad had to get up with him. I was so out of it last night. All because of waking up at 3:45 am, so that we can get to work a little early. We have to be at our stations AT 5. That means we have to get all of our ESD equipment on. Such as our feet straps, and ESD safe smock. ESD stands for electric static discharge. The reason we have to wear ESD safe equipment is because if we touched a circuit board without wearing this equipment, it would burn the board. When we get to our station we also have a cord to plug our self into so that we are grounded. That is also what our foot straps do with out feet. You know how when you walk across the floor and then you touch something and you get shocked? That's ESD. Which will not happen when I wear those straps. The smock that we wear do the same thing with our clothing. We all wear the same color, blue. I wish that there where pink smocks for girls if they would rather wear pink.... I know I would say that but it is true. We also get ESD coffee cups and water bottles. The water bottles are blue too. when she handed Brad a water bottle I asked her if girls got pink and she said no I wish there were more of a verity of colors. I do too. Everyone is blue there. I would like orange and pink too. I love those two colors.

My first day there was kinda crazy. I swear EVERYONE was starring at me!!! Then every guy that was around my age introduced there self. The next day this guy, I don't remember his name. came up to me and said there are a couple of guys that asked me to come over here and ask you what your name is, how old you are, and how long you have been here. I said my name is Summer, I and 19, I have a fiance and a 1 year old son. You can tell them that. He said ok I will. He is the one that makes the parts for our line. He came back and said they are a little disappointed but that's alright. There was also a guy that didn't work Monday that works second shift that started talking to me when I was getting ready to leave. Brad works in the same building as me and I told him what happened. He was like who wants to know? I said I don't know and I don't care. I told them I was with you anyways. I told him not to make a scene. The next day the guy that asked me the questions asked me if the guy I was walking with was my fiance. I said yes and he just walked away. Then yesterday there was a girl that was temporarily working on my line asked me if I was naturally a dirty blond. I laughed a little bit and said no. I am a Bernette. She said that I looked like a dirty blond. That kinda made me feel good because I highlight my hair and It looks natural. That makes me feel real good actually. That also means that the person that did my hair did a good job as well. I told her how I wanted it foiled, which way I wanted them foiled, and where I wanted them foiled, but she was the one that did it. I probably am not the best person when it comes to doing my hair because I want it a certain way. I am somewhat picky. The reason I say somewhat is because she made the color bleed but didn't make her fix it.

Also Trey is now hiding to go to the bathroom. He doesn't want anyone to see him push. He is so funny.

Leaf Week

This whole week Brad had to go to work and I had to stay home. I needed something to occupy my time. So I cleaned up the yard. Ya I clean the house all the time but sometimes you need a change of scenery, plus it was nice most of the week. Bridget and I have been trying to clean up the yard since we have moved in. We had 8 months of work to do to the yard. The person that was supposed to take care of the ward mowed up dog toys so there where parts of dog toys to clean up, plus TONS of leaves that were never raked. We have so many trees around they should have cleaned them up to show the house. We took out 12, 32 gallon bags out of the front yard 2 months ago and there are still more leaves in the front yard. We also took 20, 32 gallon bags of leaves out of the back yard yesterday and we still have more leaves to rake up. Yesterday we finally put up our outdoor bar together. The movers where supposed to do it along with Ron and Bridget's desk. They kept complaining because movers that loaded the truck didn't put numbers on it or directions to put it together. Then they saw the bar and started complaining again so we told them that we would put it together. So we FINALLY put it together yesterday. It was a pain in the butt. We also put our tent thing over it. Trey loves it. He has his own little tent tough. It is only tall enough for him tom stand up and wide enough for both of us to sit in there. He loves to crawl in and out of it all the time.

Today we cleaned up the shed and raked most of the yard. We haven't bagged them yet so we don't know how many we are going to add to the collection.

This is random but I have been wanting to put pictures of Trey's room on here. I painted it but I still have a few touch ups here and there. But I will put pictures on here. I am going to redo his closet in a couple of months. I hate his closet right now because the are two tiny little shelves above his curtain rod. I can't put anything on them at all. I am going to make it VERY nice.

Also today we went to Wal-Mart to get Trey's WIC vultures and he started trowing a fit and when he did I saw a molar on the right side of his mouth. I was so excited. He hasn't even got the second set of teeth on the bottom yet. I knew they would be coming in soon because it was getting flat and he was chewing on his finger on both sides. Brad told my mom that we planned on trying to conceive. She didn't say much she kept agreeing with everything Brad said about wanting another one and and how we want them 2 years apart and so on.

Walking Master

For the past month Trey has been walking backwards and walking in circles backwards. I showed him one day I could walk backward. I didn't think he would pick if up now. I guess he thinks since he has "mastered" walking forward he can walk backward. I have also been skipping around the house every once in a while so he can see what that is. I know he wont be doing that for a while, but I didn't think he would walk backward now either. He is so funny, he is a really fast learner. If you show him something he usually picks it up the first time. He learned how to work the CD play but now he takes DVDs out of the DVD player on us now. He also LOVES turning off the TV because when the TV is on the button is green and he loves buttons. Especially if the light up.

Finally

On Brad's lunch I got a worried call. He was moved from the Harris Charleston building to the Harris Culver building. He didn't know what was going on or why they were moving him. They didn't tell him anything. They just told him that he was going to be in the Culver building starting Monday. He didn't know if he was doing a bad job, a good job or anything. He still doesn't quite know. He was really worried that we where going to be in separate buildings and so was I. We had told the recruiter that we wanted to work in the same building and the same hours so we can drive together. We where for sure we where going to split up. Then Brad called our recruiter and told her what was going on and she was just as confused. About an hour later my recruiter called me and told me that I was going to be going to work in the Culver building on Monday. I was so excited and relieved at the same time because I have not yet started and I wanted to get to work soon because we need money to pay bills. They don't pay themselves. Ya we got paid during training but when you have to buy diapers, wipes, soup, shampoo and conditioner, gas, and whatever else household item you need that adds up. I didn't even add in car payments, insurance, phone bill, and miscellanies bills. You can't pay all that with 1 weeks check. We can with this weeks check though. We where getting paid $7.50 during training. Not enough to live on right now. I can't wait until we both start bringing in money. Then we will have tons of money left over and we can "afford" another baby.

I can't wait to have another one.... I love being a mom, although it isn't always easy. I want to get my tubes tied after the next one but Brad keeps telling me that that isn't a good idea. He said what if we decide to have another. I said the only way I will have another child after I have the next one is if we have twins. I want to have an even amount of kids to eliminate the middle child. Plus I want an even amount of kids. If I end up only having Trey I would be just as happy. He is my world. I would give my up my life if it meant to keep him safe. But I need to but this tired little but to bed.

Babies

I have know for a LONG time I have wanted two kids. One boy and One girl... The thing is I think four years is a little to far apart. Some of my friends are having there second child. I know you shouldn't do what everyone else is doing and so on, blah blah blah. The other thing people say are you aren't ready yet... WHEN ARE YOU READY??? No one is really ready when you have a child, you need to expect the unexpected... I have Medicaid right now. They will cover me for a year. If I get pregnant they will extend it to six weeks after the baby is born. I will be fully covered and everything will be taken care of. Bridget is all for it because She thinks it would be better if we where on Medicaid while I had the baby. She also said we are already in baby mode. We don't want to get out of it and have to try to get back in it. The last thing she said was that she is getting older. She said that it a workout keeping up with Trey and she would rather have a baby now while she still has the energy to play with them. I also think it is a good idea that way we can get rid off all the baby stuff at once. Right now we are saving everything for the next baby but if we have the next one now we can have a garage sale next summer or whatever. I am looking forward to having another baby though... I miss how little Trey was and I can't wait to have a little one again. I am hoping for a girl but if I have a boy I have everything for him so I don't care either way.... If I'm not supposed to have another one now god won't let it happen but hopefully he will give me my girl.... He gave me my boy first... I am not looking forward to being sick all the time though...

Twilight

I have been wanting to watch Twilight for a while. When we went to Blockbuster last week when we checked out they asked if we wanted to put a $5 deposit on Twilight for the 21st. I said no I will get it when I get it. When we went to Blockbuster the Thursday before the 21st, which was a Saturday all the cardboard movies placer were there. On 4 of them there were a movie case that said rent Saturday. I was kinda upset because I knew I wasn't going to be able to see it for a while. I also thought that it would be sold out and people probably waited in line for the movie at Wal-Mart. Then on Saturday Brad had mentioned going to see if there were any left. I told him there was no use. That is when he said we can rent it off the TV. I said if they have it on there. IT WAS I WAS SO EXCITED!! Brad has good ideas that work sometimes. lol. Just kidding. I LOVED the movie. It was as good as they ramp and rave about. I would buy the movie. I would watch it again. I wish that a couple of things were different in the movie such as the ending...

Professional Hair Care

In Rochester there is no Malay's. I don't like sally's for hair color. I doesn't turnout the way Redken does. I have been searching forever for a place that sells professional products. When Brad and I went to fill out paper work to start working our recruiter told me her roots aren't usually that bad. She also told me that her stylist had canceled on her twice. I told her that I had been looking for a place that sold professional products. That is when she told me about a professional place in Henrietta. Henrietta in part of Rochester like Greece, which is where we live.

We met this girl in class that has never had steak in her life but once, five months ago. She said that it want that good. We asked her where she had the steak she said Red Lobster. I said that's the problem. Then I told her that she needed to come over this weekend and have a real steak cooked on the grill!! I have been wanting to finish cleaning the yard for the past week but I didn't feel like doing it after I get out of class. So I hopefully get it done today.

Easter

Today Brad and I got paid and we needed a few things for the store so of course we go to Wal-Mart. When you go to Wal-Mart they purposely put all the seasonal item right in front of the door. Brad knew I had been wanting to get Trey an Easter basket. We didn't get him one last year but I felt bad because I saw a my first Easter bib. I was sad. I am a sucker for that stuff. I wanted my first Valentine stuff this year too. I was upset. Anyway. Brad didn't want me to go over there because he thinks it is too early. Plus he didn't want to spend the time looking for something. I was going to get a basket that had a little lamb and bunny in a basket with a little candy but I saw something better. I saw this little bunny that sang, blushed, flopped its ears, AND wagged his fluffy tail. SOLD!!! Trey loved it. I know it is supposed to be a surprise but I like to know if he is going to really like it or not. I also wanted him to have a basket and a chick. We got him a blue basket to go with his blue bunny and chick with Happy Easter on its tummy holding an egg. In cant wait until I can get him the sports basket, that's what I got, and have him find eggs in the back yard. I think I am going to try it though because he till pick up his balls and put them back in the playpen where they go. I think if we show him to put them in the basket that is what he will do after walking around with the first few. I also got him the greatest card you could ever get your kid. It says on the front "For the One I Love at Easter". Open next flap "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever." (Hebrews 13:8 (NIV) ). On the inside "God's love never changes... neither will mine. Happy Easter". It was the second card I read and I loved it. It was SO perfect!!! I can't wait until he can read and know meaning.... He will love it when he gets older. He might use that line someday... lol!!

Past Week

Last weekend was great!! Trey got to spend Friday night, Saturday, and Sunday out in the yard. Bridget and I worked out in the yard all weekend. She got sunburned but I didn't. She sat out before we started raking leaves and picking up trash that had blown around and into our neighbor's yard. We also cleaned a little patch of the neighbor's yard that was right on the other side of our fence. Our fence isn't that tall.

In the neighbors yard there are grape vines that grow on two old tree trunks in between two tall trees. That is where most of the garbage blew. There were also leaves piled up under the tree and on the base of the grape vines. When Bridget and I stared picking up large lims, sticks and logs, we realizes that there was more trash and debris under the leaves. We found TONS of wood that had rusted nails in them. We also found pretty much a gate with nails sticking out. The people that lived in our house before us had a dog and we found a few balls and a Frisbee. The Frisbee didn't have any damage but sun damage. We also found a fisher price skillet and a foam airplane. I am so glad to get that all out of there because if one of us stepped on one of those board it would not be a fun day. We didn't ask to do it we just did it but he saw us do it and he didn't say anything. I was just hoping he would be happy. I would if someone cleaned up my yard. We have a gate on the side fence that opens to his yard where the grapes are. We are the ones that have to look at it. He is about an acre away from our house. He can't see that. We also did some work on our yard. We kept some of the stick from his yard. He did say that was ok. We use the sticks for starter wood in the winter. We are going to collect them throughout the summer so we will have enough this winter. We bought the starter stick but it is just as easy starting it with twigs. We went out in the winter when the snow would melt a little and get stick to keep some for the next fire we started.

Trey got to play outside for a while but he kept running to the little creek/ stream we have on the side of our yard. Duck and geese go there along with the neighbors pond. Brad was giving the duck stail bread, while trey wanted to see the water and walk around by himself. He didn't like the fact that he can't play in the water because he LOVES water. I want to find a YMCA around here and get him swimming lessons. I wanted to do it in Lafayette but we were planning on moving and I couldn't make the whole class. I want to get him into something when he gets a little older. I think I want to get him singing lessons, because he likes to try to sing/ mumble with songs already. He loves to watch music videos on yahoo all the time. His two favorite songs are, first Chicken Fried, then Online. I have sowed him all kinds of music. He will dance to anything but he will only try to sing with certain songs like Chicken Fried. He is a character, I am telling you what. I thing he might sing before he talks. lol... Anyway, we ended up having to put him in the gate.

The same day I met some of the neighborhood kids. Some of the younger ones a couple houses down. I was wearing a cowgirl had while I was working and I was taking bags of leave out to the trash and a little girl stops in my driveway and looks at me and says "Your wearing a cowboy hat." I looked at her and smiled and said" no, it's a cowGIRL hat because I am a girl." She was quiet for a second and said "ya." Kids always play in our driveway our on the sidewalk in front of our house. Kids are so funny. The little girl kept talking and then asked where my backyard was and I told her that we had a big dog and she couldn't go back there. Her eyes got big and she took a big step back. That was when a 14 year old came out and was yelling at them. There are a few kids I would like to talk to because the think that the neighbor's house it a campground. There were two kids that actually said that. Then the next day there were two kids around 14 started walking over there and saw Bridget and I raking and stuff. They look at me for a few minutes while I stared them down and they turned around. They obviously know better. They also had been chasing deer the day before and that is where Brad hunts. That kind of stuff pisses me off and they will know it this summer. Let me tell you. People also have done donuts in the coda sac. Which is where we live. There are kids down here and MY son will be playing down here.

Brad and I started the training class through Yoh last Thursday. Which lasts until the next Friday. Brad and I were doing great in the class on Monday. On our written test Brad and I both got 100% on the first two. The third one I got a 90% and Brad got 100%. I missed two questions and when she showed me which ones I felt like an idiot. I knew them but I had shaded in the wrong box, yes I mean box, not circle. On Tuesday Brad and I both got an 88% on our test. The funny thing is when we went through them I got one right that everyone miss because it was a trick question. I read through the others and knew those answers too after she said them it hits you what the answer is. Thursday Brad got 100% and I got 98%. Then today on our final test which is to build a circuit board I got 100% on surface mounting and 96% through-hole mounting and 96% overall. Brad wont let me post what his score is because he is a baby. Just because it is a little lower than mine. He passed just to tell everyone. We don't have to go in tomorrow because we got our test board on today. Now we go to Yoh and sign a one year contract and set up our direct deposit.

We start on Monday. Yay!! I am so excited!! I am so sick an tired of not having a job. Plus I won't be doing the same thing everyday. I also won't have customers to come up to me and piss me off. I get to sit and do whatever I need to do. It all depends on what they need built. Like I said before it is fun and it is like having art class all day!! We will be working from 6am to 2:30 pm Monday through Friday. I like having set schedules. You can plan things better.

I feel really bad for Trey because for the past week he hasn't slept the same. He has been getting up more but I think that is because he hasn't been taking naps. That may sound funny but when he is over tired during the day he doesn't sleep well during the night. He has been confused about Bridget getting him up in the morning instead of mom or dad. He is so excited when we get home though. He slept good last night and today so hopefully he will sleep well tonight. I am going to bed now because I worked all day and have been up since 5:30am.

Class

Class started yesterday but I was way to tired to write about it. Yesterday was kind of boring because all we did was watch videos, worksheets, and a quiz, I got a 92, (I missed 2) and Brad missed 3. I don't know what percentage that is I am not going to figure that out. I thought it was going to be a problem that I had no experience doing any thing she was teaching. When classed started we went around the room saying what experience we had and only two people had any experience. That made me fill tons better.

Today we soldered for the first time. I REALLY like it. It is like a piece of art that will be in every military personnel's hand. lol... just kidding, but it is true. It is kind of like art. You are the one solders it a certain way. It is like fingerprints. There are no two alike. You will solder different than anyone else. We soldered wires to parts, which is pretty hard. You have to have it tight enough, can't get the rubber up by the metal, and can't use to much solder. What I really like today was working on circuit board. Which is extremely hard. You have you know the parts, which a lot of them look the same. You also have to know which side is negative which side is positive, and put it in the right way. When you make a circuit board you have to fallow a certain guideline or it will not work. For instance, when you put the wire through one of the hole you bend it flat to the board and cut it to 1 mm in length. It can not go over 1 and 1/2 mm or it will not meat standards. Then you solder it. We had to work with the smallest parts anyone has ever seen. There was one part that looked like an eraser but it was only 1 mm long. There were parts smaller than that. We had to use a scope to put then on along with thing that looked like little chips. We had to solder all of the little legs that were less than 1 mm wide. It was hard to get it perfect too. When you are working on a circuit board you have to be grounded. You have to wear this strap on your wrist so you don't shock the board and burn the circuit. We have to put one together for a test next week and we have a test Monday. I hope it all goes well. In the beginning of the class today I was getting done so fast. I was all go, go, go, this morning. I hated having to sit and wait for everyone to be done because I wanted to do something else. I the work place I won't have to wait on anyone because there is always something to do. You just go to the next circuit board after you finish one. There were a few people that needed a little help but they have never solder before. That is what the class was for. There are 8 people in the class with up and there is a boy that is 19, same age as me, and his Birthday is June 28TH and mine is June 21ST. There is also a girl that is 20 but the others are 30 and older. There is a girl named Amy and a guy named Paul in my class and reminds me of my Amy and Paul in Lafayette. I miss them!! But I can't wait to start actually working on my own. I am too excited!!!

Great Weather

Well we are gaining a little hope that the winter will end. We have had the worse weather in year throughout the whole United States. Virginia even got three inches of snow last week and they never get snow. This year in Rochester alone we have gotten feet of snow at a time. That hasn't happened in years. But this week has been great. we have had 50 degree weather and we got to take our little nature bug out to play for a while. He has loved being outside since the day he was born. When it was worn of course... But if he was getting fussy we would take one step out on the back porch and he would shut up. He loved looking at the trees and swinging in the patio swing.

The other day we took Trey out in the front and let him run around for the first time. He loved it he fell a few times but didn't get hurt... What do you expect from someone who has never walked on unlevel grounds. My little sister's mom Josie got him a bike that had a handle bar on it like a stroller. That way Trey can learn how to ride and stay with us on a walk or something. Well we got it out and I wouldn't push him in it yet because he isn't ready but I let him sit on it. He was trying to figure it out before he even got on it. He was checking the tires and pushing it all over the driveway. Which is an 8 car driveway so he has no reason to go near the road later on. I finally put him on it because it looked like he was trying to get on it himself. It was not going to happen, his legs where to short. He sat on there and turned the handle bars, laughed and screamed as loud as he could. Brad vacuuming out his truck and stopped to ask if that was Trey screaming. He is nuts about being outside. He was playing in the grass and every time he fell on his butt he would point at me to pick him up because he didn't Wat to put his hands in the damp soil. He would pick at it and give me sticks and other stuff on the ground. He just didn't want to put his whole hand in the mud.

Later that day we ended up cooking out. We have a two level deck. One level is right outside the kitchen and Bridget's bedroom. The other in outside the garage. Trey was playing one the lover level outside the garage and he wanted to climb the stairs. I sat on them so he couldn't climb them hoping he didn't see the stair that lead down to the basement door. He didn't, he saw the ones that lead out to the yard. Which was fine because I was going to walk him out there anyway. He stopped at this little tree we have in a flower pot thing attached to our deck. He saw a little stick and held it out to me then tried to put it back on the tree... lol... He makes me laugh. He didn't want to go in that day either. He had so much fun. He also slept so good that night. I bet he will sleep great this summer. We are planning on going to Virginia this summer and visiting Brad's aunt, uncle, and the beach... lol!! I am also getting a car when we go. I am going to trade in my car for a 2009 Honda Pilot. I was going to get a 2009 Trail Blazer but Brad's uncle works for Honda. Plus this is more of a luxury SUV anyway. There are more seat and more room. We are going to start traveling in my beauty to IN and where ever else we go.... I can't wait!!

Brad and I start class on Thursday at Yoh. We will be in class on Thursday, Friday, and the whole next week. Then we will be placed in a job depending on what we are best at. We kinda got a leg up because Ron knows the supervisor that we will be working for and he gave up pre-test to work on and study. I can't wait to be making my own money again.

We got back on WIC. Which really helps. We get fruit and veggies on the vouchers in NY. I don't know it they do in IN because we never got that far. I have never heard of it being on there though. I thought that was weird. They also give you a sippy cup, regular cup, portion plate, and a container that you can put snacks in that sits in a diaper bag.... I though that was cool..

My Whole Day!!

I spent my whole day on the computer pretty much. Everyone has been sick the past few weeks yet it has been busy. I needed to catch up. I caught up on myspace and here. When we 1st got home we had to go to the doctors fro Trey. I do laundry but I didn't feel like doing all that laundry form going to Lafayette. Then all of Trey's clothes and toys had to be put away, I didn't want to do that either. WE also had to go to the Licence Branch to get plates and our license. That was fun. Brad was building a toy box/ hope chest for Trey. I had to wait for that to be done so I could straighten up his room. While he did that I hung shelf in his room for his Noah's Ark, which is glass, that I LOVE. I bought it at the Feast of the Hunter's Moon. I have been waiting to put that up. I had to wait until I painted it. I have to put pictures on here because I am very proud of myself!! I did it all by myself!! Brad got the box/chest done, but we are keeping it in the living room right now because there is no room in his room until we get rid of the changing table. I think that will be soon though.

I am trying to get Trey completely off the bottle. I want to do it by 15 months. He takes a sippy during the day but I still rock him to sleep with a bottle. I tried to rock him to sleep with a sippy but he kept screaming. I eventually gave in after 15 minutes of him screaming and not wanting his sippy. He will also refuse his sippy when he is tired and wants to go to bed so you know when it is time for bed. Like I said before he wants it his way or no way.

Trey also does this headbanging thing. He hits his head on EVERYTHING on PURPOSE. Why!!??? He hits his mouth on everything too. I have NEVER see anyone ever do that. He thinks it's funny. I think he is going to hurt himself but you can't stop him. You tell him no he will look at you and keep doing it. He is crazy. He also likes to bite any kind of fabric. Mostly blankets. He doesn't care if your toes are under there either.

I am also worried about how Trey doesn't talk like other kids his age. Ya he says mom, dad, baba, and pawpaw. He makes sound like "f", "g", and a few others but my friends daughter is a few months older and she says tons of things. Like when she saw Trey at his birthday party she called Trey a baby. But Trey started walking about 10 and1/2 months and she took her 1st step at 1. I know your not supposed to compare your child to someone else's but everyone does it. Trey is very advanced physically but like I said he doesn't talk (words that is).He does babble stuff. I guess that's ok for now. As long as he responds, makes noises, and cries when he is hurt then he is alright. I know he is ok I just worry like every other mom. The worst thing is when a mother finds out that there is something wrong with there child and mom's try to prevent, or catch it before it becomes something terrible. That's what mother's do, worry.

1st Haircut!!

I made his Mohawk a little wider so that if we didn't want to spike it, it would look like a normal haircut!! I also trimmed the top down a little...

1st Birthday in NY

He looked like Shaggy before he got his haircut!!!

More of Trey's 1st Birthday!!

Chuck E Cheese Birthday Party
